Marketing Manager for a Professional Services Multinational

 

The Marketing Manager will run Middle East marketing operations across the GCC region (predominantly UAE and KSA, smoothly relating to Global marketing, entrenched in the media and business community, and able to productively work with different styles, priorities, and different opinions on how the Marketing Department should operate. 

 

 

Responsibilties

Developing, implementing and monitoring execution of a comprehensive and integrated Middle East marketing strategy that supports business/commercial objectives across key marketing pillars/channels: networking, media, events, alumni, direct & web (see description of the pillars below)

Monitoring brand performance and steer marketing efforts toward building a brand that supports the business/commercial agenda

Leading internal communication within the system to align and execute the marketing agenda

Developing and mentoring your team. Our Marketing team consists of 8 ambitious and driven marketing professionals at different career levels 

Assisting different practices within the firm to proactively drive their marketing agenda

Developing, managing and overseeing the marketing budget

Coordinating and collaborating with global and regional marketing teams, clients, alumni to develop and implement major marketing initiatives

Participate in special projects or perform other duties as requested

MARKETING PILLARS:

Networking: connections with Industry/Public/Private Associations

Media: relations with PR agency, journalists

Events: management of client events and some major internal events

Alumni: connections with alumni

Direct & Digital: management of direct mailing

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor level essential, Masters degree is a plus 

Minimum 10 years of B2B Marketing experience or as a consultant/senior role in Business Services Team 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in team management

Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with values and cultures

Excellent analytical skills 

Excellent written and oral English, Arabic is a plus 

Excellent communication and interaction skills 

Good computing skills, comfortable with adopting IT/system tools

Strong connections with key media leaders/ PR agency
