Responsibilities include:


Leverage existing databases and other sources to work with TMT practice seniors and project teams to address research requests, support information gathering needs, and derive unique insights and analyses 
Conduct company profiling and base lining exercises 
Lead competitor benchmarking and economic analysis assignments 
Develop industry profiles and trends perspectives 
Analyze and assess company financials 
Work with market research firms to produce and conduct surveys developed in coordination with the practice 
Compile full market overviews identifying key players, market share, value propositions, etc. and develop market outlooks 

Identify and develop relevant newsletters and reports related to the industry and competitor landscape 
Synthesize and present findings in relevant and transferrable research products 
Support and contribute to compiling client-facing reports 
Ensure the quality and accuracy of quantitative components of the research, and enable the execution of research methodologies according to defined process and schedules 
Conduct relevant research, extract needed insights, synthesize and capture in a deliverable 
Drive engagement within the TMT practice by educating the extended team with the research products 
Access internal knowledge tools to leverage relevant pieces of intellectual capital and qualifications 
Identify and interact with external industry experts networks to derive relevant information and insights 
Continuously assess the return on investment of databases and identify new opportunities for improvement 
Train client staff on use of different information sources /knowledge bases 
Integrate with local and international teams on project work (newsletters, task forces etc.) 
Train and mentor junior colleagues 
Interact with vendors, sources, and networks



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

4-5 years of experience in a related role, with TMT knowledge and background, preferably with focus on telecom, entertainment & media, and technology industries 

Knowledge of research methodologies, with prior exposure to data-driven insights 

Strong fundamental research and analytical skills 

Strong consulting skills, as well as communication and problem solving

Knowledge of databases  

Experienced in working with Excel and PowerPoint 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Arabic 

Strong work ethic and a desire to assume significant responsibility

University Degree, Master’s degree preferred
